As I am engaged to be married, I have been doing plenty of planning for the big day. The venues are sorted, the dress is bought, even the most odd one out I have hired the professional wedding website services to make my D-Day alive for years to come but I still have a number of things to get done. All of these things are to do with me – the bride. This isn’t intended to sound big-headed or vain; there are simply some things that I would like to change before I have a whole crowd of people looking at me during my vows.
I am mostly happy with the way I look, but like any person there are things I wish I could change. Therefore I have made it my mission to do what I can to increase my confidence and look radiant in my photographs. After all, it will be one of the most memorable days of my life, and I want to feel as though I have made a proper effort. Here is what I want to change:
My Ability To Walk In High Heels
Right now I have a massive dependency on flat shoes in various forms, but I know that I need to wear high heels on my wedding day to boost my height (I’m quite short compared to many other brides). Therefore I really need to start wearing high heel shoes on a more regular basis, so I don’t embarrass myself by stumbling over, especially whilst wearing a wedding dress that I won’t be used to.
My Reliance On Glasses
I wear glasses at the moment, but I really need to look into contact lenses. I like the way that glasses look, but they can be a bit of a pain, and could give off reflections in my photographs. I want my groom to be able to look into my eyes properly, something which contacts would be better suited for. Not only this but glasses can get quite dirty, and I don’t want to have to remember to keep wiping them on my special day!
My Hairstyle
It won’t be a permanent change, but I want my hair to look amazing on my wedding day. I haven’t decided on a style yet, but I certainly want something that will leave me looking like a modern day princess. I need to find the right hairdresser to do the job, as I want to look both polished and relaxed, and this isn’t a look that every stylist can easily achieve. I am also considering a few highlights to give me a beautiful glow.
My Smile
Finally, I will be looking into improving my smile before my wedding day. This includes getting my teeth filed down, as well as the possibility of having a whitening treatment. I have used whitening toothpaste in the past and it hasn’t changed the colour of my teeth a single bit, so I might need to look at something a bit more heavy duty; time for a visit to the dentist I think!
